Description
In today’s world, marriage has been reshaped by modern culture, shifting perspectives, and misunderstood psychology. What was once sacred has gradually been redefined, and practices God clearly warned against have become socially acceptable. As a result, many people are unknowingly living in sin, not out of rebellion, but out of lack of knowledge. This book confronts a difficult but necessary truth: marriage has stages, and very few couples ever reach the final one. When misunderstandings arise and emotional strain increases, divorce has become the convenient solution. Yet Scripture presents a far more serious view of the marital covenant, one that does not bend to cultural pressure. According to God’s command, marriage is permanent. Divorce is permitted only in the case of marital unfaithfulness, and even then, remarriage is not endorsed. Jesus’ teaching reveals a sobering reality: divorcing and remarrying amounts to adultery, disrupting one’s relationship with God, and burdening the conscience with guilt that hinders true spiritual service. As Scripture states: “To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.” — 1 Corinthians 7:10 This book challenges readers to ask the hard questions: • What does God truly say about marriage and divorce? • Have we normalized what Scripture clearly forbids? • Can one fully serve God while knowingly living in disobedience? With biblical depth, clarity, and compassion, this book calls believers back to God’s original design for marriage, not to condemn, but to restore understanding, accountability, and reverence for the covenant God Himself joins together.
